The Fine Print, in Plain English
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
The short version. This website keeps very little. There are no accounts for visitors, no ads and no third-party trackers. What you say to Omnia is used only to answer you and is not stored by us. If you write to us, your message arrives as an ordinary email, and we keep it so we can reply. We never sell or share anyone’s information.
Who We Are
Demotima (demotima.com) is operated by Timatsu LLC, based in North Carolina. Questions about this policy go through hello@timatsu.com.
What This Policy Covers
This policy covers the demotima.com website and Omnia, its agent. Democura, Demojura and Democera each have their own websites and their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
Talking With Omnia
Omnia, our AI agent, answers what you type. Here is what happens to your words:
- To write a reply, your message and the conversation so far go to our server and then to an AI model provider (OpenRouter, which routes it to the model that writes the reply). The provider handles your message under its own terms. We do not store your conversation, and no person reads it.
- In your browser, the chat keeps the current conversation for that tab only, so it survives a reload, and it is cleared when you close the tab. Omnia also remembers its own opening greeting in your browser. Neither leaves your device.
- Please keep private matters out of the chat. Omnia is AI, not a clinician, attorney or counselor, and cannot keep a confidence; see our Notice.
Keeping the Lights On
AI replies cost money, so we take three small measures to keep them fair and affordable:
- Usage records. For each AI reply we record the time, which feature answered, and how many words (tokens) it used and what it cost. The record does not contain what you or the AI said.
- Limits. To stop abuse, we count requests from each IP address in short-lived counters that reset within an hour or a day.
- A small puzzle. Your browser quietly solves a small computing puzzle before a chat starts, which makes automated abuse expensive. It reads nothing from your device.
The Contact Page
The Contact page does not send anything by itself. When you press Send Message, it opens your own email app with a message to the Timatsu team, filled in with your name, your organization if you add one, the topic you chose and your message. Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself. When it arrives, the team reads it and uses it only to reply, and we will delete it on request.
Team Sign-In
The sign-in page is for the Demotima team only; visitors do not have accounts. When a team member signs in, their email and password are checked by our identity provider (Supabase), and the site sets two cookies: demotima_session, which keeps them signed in for up to 12 hours, and demotima_master, which lets them edit their own profile. Both are strictly necessary for the team dashboard and are never used to track anyone. Every cookie is listed in our Cookie Policy. Visitors who do not sign in get no cookie. Each page also asks our server whether you are signed in, so the header and footer can show Sign In or Sign Out; that check sets no cookie and only reads the team cookie if one is already there.
Counting Visits
This website does not count visits. If it ever does, the counter will be our own, with no cookie and no third party, and this page will say so before it starts.
Our Service Providers
- Vercel hosts the site. Its servers see your IP address and browser details and keep standard request logs for security and reliability.
- Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
- OpenRouter and the AI model it routes to write Omnia’s replies.
- Supabase hosts our databases: the team sign-in, the usage records and the short-lived limit counters.
- Resend delivers service alerts to our team, such as a note that a usage limit was reached.
We do not combine this information with anything else, and we do not use it to identify you.
What We Do Not Do
- No third-party analytics, tracking pixels, advertising or social media trackers.
- No selling or sharing of personal information, ever.
- No profiles of visitors or what anyone reads.
- No training of AI models on your conversations by us.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your Choices and Rights
We hold no conversations or profiles of visitors, so in most cases there is nothing to access, correct or delete. If you wrote to us, you can ask us through the Contact page to delete your message at any time. Residents of states with privacy laws, such as California, have rights over personal information a business holds; we never sell or share personal information.
Changes
When what this site collects changes, this policy changes first, and the date above changes with it.
